Gordon Brown

“My goal as an artist is to document the natural beauty of the landscape. At the same time, I often exaggerate the effects of light and atmosphere to intensify the expression. I enjoy experimenting with the ever changing elements of landscapes such as weather and light. Recognizing these changes and trying to capture these moments is a challenge I truly enjoy. I am less concerned with my painting style, but rather let it come naturally from my personal vision.”

Brown has had numerous sold-out one-man shows, and has headlined many group shows. His work is in many prominent collections including the Denver Art Museum and Coors Western Art Show. He is represented by Keating Fine Art and Breckenridge Gallery
