Timothy Solliday's inspiration and talent may well have been handed down to him from his father, an illustrator and a draftsman. Born in the Midwestern town of Ottumwa, Iowa, Tim's family moved back to California before he was three years of age. As far back as he can remember, he has always had a passion for art, drawing and sketching; particularly the beautiful sunlit scenes of California .
In recent years his work has been sought after for its Plein Air conditions, airy light effects, bold use of color, and perfect capture of light. He is well versed in all mediums; oils, pastels, and watercolors.
