Mission

The American Art Invitational was conceived as a community event—a coming together of artists, galleries and collectors in a special presentation of works by the top contemporary masters in American fine art. This year we are celebrating a show of small works, entitled "Small Gems," November 9 through December 31, 2012.

The invited artists are masters in the field of contemporary representational, impressionism, expressionism and realism. Like their predecessors, they display a foundation of strong training in the techniques of draftsmanship and composition. Using different subject matter such as landscapes, figure, wildlife, western and still life, they give us an understanding of present, as well as, a sense of history. This year, the artist roster includes 100 award-winning painters and sculptors from across the nation.
